1. Nowhere

Details:

The long-awaited proper rendering of "Nowhere" is released years after a sparse version of this bittersweet, pop-laced ballad graced the closing credits of the Nick Nolte-starring indie flick, "Off The Black." Co-written with Chris Newkirk quite a while ago, the song really came to life when it was presented to Holler Wild Rose's John Mosloskie. His glorious touch is all over the damn thing. Ian's mom says he has rarely sounded sweeter.

Also, it features original artwork by Smitten By Stephanie. Check out S by S's sweet stuff here: http://www.smittenbystephanie.com

Lyrics:

Nowhere
We used to live
In the top half of a house
We’d climb up the steps
And shut the world out

We used to live
On a broken little road
We’d drive our broken little car
To our broken little home

But now the sky has turned the color
Of angry ex-lovers
And there’s really nowhere left to go

Where to…with you?
Where to…with you?
